New Member and Official Visit
12-22-11 We did not have a quorum but did have 15 inches of snow. Our initiation was held at the next meeting 1-12-12 with our new member Evie Tamm. We hope she enjoys star as much as we enjoy having her join us.
01-20-12 Was our official Visit with the "Canopy of Stars" family. There was a picnic before with singing from "Southpark Slim" and a beautiful poem "The Lodge Room Over Simpkins' Store" was heard before the meeting. The biggest surprise of the year came when the WGM, Maryann Gold-Weidler, and WGP, Charles Anderson, gave the honor of Grand Representative of New Hampshire to Boulder's WM Linda Ayers. She is still in shock and very appreciative of the honor. After the meeting all enjoyed ice cream and cookies served by Longmont chapter. We had the honor of having the Past Grand Matron from Connecticut, Gail Evarts, visiting with us. A big "Thank You" to all who came and enjoyed the evening with us!
